I have had some degree of experience with different communities both in Washington and California (my mom, my wife's mom). The Ridge is by far the best, particularly in friendliness, value and care. The turnover is very small, the training is very good and the nursing staff could not be better.

We recently moved my Mom from an appartment near Seattle to Clearbrook Inn to take advantage of the Assisted living. We are finding the quality of care exceptional with a broad base of activities provided.

I believe it was very good. Everything they did was extraordinarily well done and kind. It was essential the we used them because we had not alternative for that month. It was a disaster for my friend because she was at a point in her disease that she was just not happy. There was no right situation for her. I can't think of anytihng that they could have done better. They were careful to take care of her cats. They gave her a very nice room and cooked specifically for her rather complicated diet. They treated her with great kindness. The place was simply lovely and beautifully designed. Overall, they get high marks all around.

Wonderful visit. Answered all my questions. Definately one to consider. A positive enviroment.

My father moved into Heritage Place in June 2013 after having a stroke. He is no longer able to live alone and needs assistance. His one bedroom apartment has a large walk-in closet. The building is designed so most everyone has a view overlooking the courtyard. Heritage has a family atmosphere and caring staff. [name removed] , the Activity Director, has a full schedule of activities from Bingo, Corn hole, Exercise Class, Music, Arts and Crafts, etc. There is something for everyone. They provide transportation to appointments if needed. Meals are served in the dining room or if a resident chooses they can eat in their room. Our family is pleased with the care received. Best of all, this is home to my father and he loves it there. I highly recommend Heritage Place.

My mother has been a resident at Regent Court for just over a year. I have been very impressed with the facility. It is well managed and the staff is incredibly attentive to my mother's needs as well as to mine. They are professional, skilled at interacting with the residents and very kind. I appreciate that we were able to fill my mother's room with her familiar things and that she has her own space. The common areas are light and well designed for this very needy population. I appreciate that it doesn't feel or smell or even look like an institution.

so i rated them a 5 al across they do a real good job staff is great they take care of the famliy and make sure they are ok i would recommend to any one out there i rated the cleanliness a 5 star rating in and out i al so rated the value of what we are getting a 5 star as well

Very friendly staff! They are very helpful! If I have any problems, they take care of things right away. Or, if I have questions, they are there to answer. I can't think of any improvements needed yet. They are really doing a lot of good things. Also, they were an easy pick because they help with two-person transfers, which is hard to find.

Regent Court smelled decent, we toured a lot of places that smelled like urine. Regent Court administration staff is fantastic, easy to work with. The assessment was done by the director and a nurse. The second reason we chose Regent Court was because of their activity list. They had a much more thorough activity list than any of the other places we toured. They also have the option to take a bus or a van out on little excursions, they take their residence out to parks or little events and that was one of [name removed] big concern was that she would be trapped in a building for the rest of her life. So that made it even more inviting. Thirdly, we paid attention to how much storage she would have in her room. Most of the memory care facilities are very small rooms with minimal storage. And [name removed] has a lot of stuff. So we wanted to make sure that she could feel as at home as possible. Regent Court just had a better storage set up in the rooms and that was a bonus. It is a little less clothing hanger space but overall better storage. Fourthly we paid attention to the common areas and the outdoor space. The outdoor space at Regent Court is much bigger and much more walkable than any other place we tour. Also, their common areas had less trip hazards.

Happy with our choice. They truly care for dad as if he was their dad or grandpa.

The staff at Heritage Place is very friendly. And the residents really enjoy being there. I had several who stopped me when I was touring and encouraged me to bring my mom there because they really love living there and thought she would love it too. The facility is a little bit dated and could use some refurbishment. But the staff takes good care of people, and the residents seem to love it there.

We chose Heritage Place because when I was looked the price was right and the staff here seemed a lot friendlier and more organized than some others we looked at. The room sizes here are great. The staff all try their hardest and I would recommend them to others looking.

If you can afford it, this is the best community in the area. I believe the community has a higher staff to patient ration, than other communities in the area.

My husband seems to be doing better now that we have moved him here. The staff is friendly, welcoming and helpful. The community is small and is very clean. The food seems to be fine the portions are good. The location is perfect very close to our home. I believe he is socializing with the other residents but he mostly stays in his room and enjoys watching tv.

Higher end. Stack washer & dryer,full kitchen,indoor pool, jaccuzi, affiliated with rehab.

Quiet and Remote. Location-Top of Ridgetop. Friendly staff...accomodated residents during tour. Staged environments for resident comfort and mental stimulation. Clean but noticeable incontinence smell. Emergency Response and Secured premises.

Clearbrook Inn felt more like a hospital instead of a senior community. They left the doors open all day long. I was not able to try the food. This did not feel like the right place for my mom.

My loved one only had a brief stay here at the Regent Court. The environment was very clean and the staff did the best that they could to care for my loved one. I felt that they did not have enough staff to help my loved one be more comfortable. The food was good but the portions were too small. They do offer activities for the residents to participate in. The community is well-kept and the landscape is nice.

Don't let fancy shmancy decor fool you. This is NOT a good place to send your loved one if they are infirm or in need of lots of care. It's alright for the senior with a greater degree of independence, but this facility is not appropriately staffed for its level of acuity. This is a 48 bed facility with an average staffing ratio of 15:1 per CNA. There are never enough caregivers staffed to provide quality care to residents. If you're planning on spending an arm and a leg for care for mom or dad, consider somewhere else where there is actually enough personnel to assist them. Clearbrook Inn is owned by a for-profit corporation, and refuses to change their boarding designation from assisted living to long-term care because 1. Administration would be required by law to staff more CNA's 2. They don't want to let the Medicaid "riff raff" in. This place is all about appearances, but know that under the surface this facility is driven by business goals and not realistic quality care goals. Always ask about staffing ratios when seeking a long-term care facility for mom or dad.

My mother was a resident of The Ridge for 4 weeks. I met two caregivers who seemed genuinely kind, caring, compassionate and competent. Some caregivers were just there to do a job and I had the unpleasant experience of witnessing one hurting my mom while he changed her brief. He didn't care, he just wanted to get it done. The management staff is young and seems more focussed on their own well-being rather than that of the very vulnerable people who live there. Several times I did not get the courtesy of a reply to an email. In particular, the General Manager, [name removed] is far too uncaring and not nearly experienced enough to run a facility such as The Ridge. She seems full of her own self-importance. The staff managed to lose one of my mom's very personal and prized possessions - her purse - that she never went anywhere without. The staff would joke that the residents take things from other rooms. [name removed] gave us a lot of lip service about trying to find it and then shed a crocodil
