My husband and I are just in love with where we are living. We have lived in the country side all our life and moving here we still feel like we are. We’re behind the Barton Square Center so I can hop in my car and go there if I want to or go to a nearby restaurant. Everything is really convenient to get to; they even opened up a new H.E.B. It’s a brand new area so they are still building the new center for exercise and activities. It looks big and I can’t wait until it’s finished. At the moment the area seems a bit empty because since it fairly new, not a lot of people have moved in. There are about 32 units and I feel that it’s not well advertised enough. I could beg people to come live here because I feel like people are missing out. They have a wonderful maintenance staff as well. If something breaks like a light bulb or a filter needs changing they would come on by and fix it. However, everything would rarely break which is good. What is also nice is that a part of our deal we get a free meal at the Arbor House which is walking distance from here. It kind of gets me up to do a little exercise if I wanted to go there and eat. Overall, this location is wonderful and the landscaping is beautifully done.

This facility provides very nice two bedroom individual cottages with larges single garages on ground level. No steps to fight! There will be some construction in the area, as they finish the common area, and Central Texas Marketplace builds out the final open areas that are undeveloped. Probably two or three more stores depending on the size.

My dad is doing just fine and loving life. The staff are the main reason he is doing well. He is in the independent side and the people that are working there are absolutely phenomenal. They befriended him and check on him, they are great. He prepares his own meals in his apartment, he is still cooking. We wanted the best for my dad and he is in a great spot. When I retire I want to go there too.

We're very pleased with Emerald Cottages of Stonebridge! The cottages are comfortable and well appointed, and the community has a lot to offer! We really enjoy all the activities and events. They took everyone on a bus tour to see all the Christmas lights, which I thought was very nice! I also really appreciate how on top of things the maintenance man is, he is very good at his job. We would highly recommend this place!

This is the best senior community we've seen. The apts are very nice - like a small house. The other residents are very friendly, and [Removed] does a great job planning activities. It is well worth the price, and senior housing goes.

Emerald Cottages is the perfect place for Seniors who still need living space and don't want to live in an apartment surrounded by dozens (or hundreds) of people. The Cottages are semi-detached, with a porch, some lawn, garage (as well as 2 bedrooms and baths, fully equipped kitchen, laundry room.)There is a club house for socializing, and scheduled activities. Meals can be purchased at a very reasonable price from the nursing home next door. A complete medical facility is a 4 minute walk from your front door. It is a wonderful home for still active seniors in a beautiful Texas town.

They have been really awesome, through the whole process. It's a brand new facility, and they are really friendly, and really helpful! We like them a lot.

This place is terrific! The cottages are super nice, roomy, and convenient, and beautifully designed. The neighbors couldn't be nicer, and even our dogs like it.

Staff is friendly but communication needs improvement. However, yes I would recommend the community to other families. For clarity on the food, each tenant is responsible for their food. Again this is an independent facility.

I have been renting a cottage at Woodland Cottages of Fredericksburg for several months. It's for Independent Senior Living. The builders did a great job of creating a flat environment for older seniors with mobility issues. Seniors who need to use canes, walkers and wheelchairs will appreciate the smooth transition. The showers are zero threshold and made with bars for seniors to hold. The toilets are ADA for seniors to sit comfortably. The entire cottage is designed for easy maneuverability for seniors who have trouble with mobility. The cottage is larger than normal size than many senior living facilities. I have a back patio with a small fenced backyard for my small dog. The people in management are kind and caring and we have activities for the residents to get to know each other. I can highly recommend it.

Every unit has a full kitchen, so no food/dining available. They do have 1 luncheon provided for all residents if interested. And they do have a potluck dinner occasionally for all to contribute. Many activities to pick from as well. We picked this community, because mom didn't want to live in an apartment type community. These cottages are perfect, all level, has a covered porch, attached garage, nice community to walk in, and has a clubhouse with pool. They are close to the grocery store, medical offices, and family members.

It is really nice apartments. The rooms are large. It's really clean and comfortable. It's very pleasant. Nice surroundings. The people are friendly and they offer several activities, if you're interested. I picked this community because it was the first place that I looked at.

This community is nice. We did not want to have a community where we could not down size if needed at a later time. The staff was nice and friendly . We found it to be more expensive then what we were looking for. Highly recommended.

This is a good community for independent community living. Very safe and being able to live on my own. A very friendly community and everyone knows each other. Nice neighbours to have around.I would recommend it for others that want to be on there own in a safe and friendly environment.
