We chose The Terrace at Eddy Memorial because of the convenient location as well as the friendliness of the staff. It was just a lovely place and everyone was nice and it was super clean. The dining room was very nice, they sat people with the same people everyday so they got to build relationships with one another. I would recommend them to others looking. We are actually going back for another respite stay next month, it worked out great.

They are very clean, thorough, supportive. It's a great community for my Mom. I am secure with her being here and I have no intention of moving her.

We've heard about the expansion and finally went to check it out. It's going to be very nice...huge indoor pool we can use 12 months a year, and nice new bigger apartments compared to what we've seen elsewhere. We've now started the process of selling our home and will be among the first of the new group of residents!

I think the Glen Eddy is a wonderful place to be for those that choose to live in a senior community. It allows you to maintain your Independence. Congenial highly intelligent community of people to socialize with.

My husband and I moved here when we found maintaining the home we loved was more than we wanted to do. The Glen welcomed us and we felt at home. We were happy and comfortable. My husband's health was failing and he died before our first year was over. Again, the people at The Glen helped and supported me. My life has been filled with support, friendship, and caring. This is a good place to be.

When my husband and I moved here a few years ago he was not at all well and both our neighbors and staff treated him and accepted him so well. After his death everything just fell in place so easily. I continued to enjoy the company of the residents and all the activities immensely. It is a fact and the truth that we become a family. I invited one and all to come see for yourself.

Very friendly environment good activities-I have suggested more balance exercises they have set up more balance exercises older patients have balance problems and fall often. If really serious injuries' happen we don't heal well.

Staff makes you laugh. We have a variety of activities. Appreciate not having to do housekeeping and cook. Staff take care of everything. Enjoy the extended family of staff and residents.

When the pandemic started back in March 2020, I was terrified. Not for myself, but for my mother and her friends at Hawthorne Ridge.. My fears were put to rest when I learned of the amazing protocols put immediately into place by staff. Life could stay "normal" for my mother and her friends.... except for following the rules set in place. I feel absolutely at peace, knowing that my mother is in one of the safest facilities in upstate. Even when there were cases, I never panicked, because I knew steps were in place to ensure the exposure was minimal to none. Recently,[name removed] likened the staff at Hawthorne to the band that kept playing while the Titanic sank..... the thing is, Hawthorne NEVER sank.... the HEROES who work there rose to the occasion and kept our loved ones safe. The word heroes has been thrown around a lot during the pandemic, but I truly believe that the staff at Hawthorne TRULY earned that badge! Thank you from the bottom, middle and top of my heart!!

My wife and I are very pleased to be living at the Terrace at Glen Eddy. All personnel here are extremely friendly and caring. They are always ready to respond to our needs.

It's friendly, the staff is very helpful and kind. My apartment is very nice I've been happy here.

Security I feel safe. My apartment is big and has a lot of light. Like having lunch w/ my friends, housekeeping is great and laundry service.
