Doctors TLC Assisted Living

The facility is clean, open and simple. The staff is extraordinary in their loving care, skill and kindness. [names removed] are all great. I feel that we have my 95 year old Mom in the best place for her condition.

Doctors tlc has done an amazing job caring for mom. She fell 14 times at her previous Assisted Living Pl. and needed a new place that was safe for her. She has not fallen once since she has been placed at Dr TLC. She seems to be doing pretty good. Mom was able to bring her cat, which was a blessing to us. I am thankful for the staff for providing good care for mom.

Overall, value for cost is much better than the previous large company care home that was constantly raising its prices while still not having enough caregivers on staff...[name removed] -- the owner-- is very nice, friendly and caring. When it comes to the meals and dining - my aunt says they cook pretty much the same kind of meals every day-- some kind of Asian type meal with rice, etc. Says they are "obviously not cooks"... but that they're very nice and will at least attempt to cook something different upon request". I'm guessing that's just how it is in the small group care home setting. For the activities - haven't heard that they do any of this, really. But again, it's probably difficult with the small care home setting. They do, however, make sure that a hairdresser/ manicurist comes in regularly for the residents who want to have these services.

Visited 2 homes by this group (Sugar St/Taylor Dr.)...very nice facilities, but not quite right for Mom...yet. Sugar was the better bet with a larger room and private bath.
