Cypress Assisted Living, LLC

My mother lived at Cypress Assisted Living IV for about 1.5 years. It was her third— and final— assisted living home. The care was as best as one could hope for— it is an extremely difficult task to care for a community with dementia and ALZ. The staff is loving, kind, and attentive. In Mom’s last 2 weeks, I was at the facility for hours upon hours, which allowed me to witness more carefully the dedication and respect that they show the residents -patients. It really moved me to see how much they truly loved my mom. When she passed, two of the staff members even attended her funeral. It was very touching. Thank you [names removed] and all. This is a great place for your elderly loved ones suffering from memory loss.

A nice, beautiful, and friendly atmosphere. A very, helpful, and caring staff. [name removed] provided plenty of activities for the residents to participate and enjoy. Rooms are a good size and clean. A nice place to be.

Some were very friendly, others not so much. There were some things I thought could be better, but good overall. The newer admin staff not as friendly. I never tasted any. They had some but didn't seem to offer a variety

Upon arrival this place looks nice and the building is kept up. Entering into the building I see the staff keeping residence busy with fun activities. They showed us the rooms which are decent size, organized, and smell good. They have a full-time chef that prepares three course meals and snacks are provided in between meals. They offer different activities so that way the residents are never bored. Lots of space for everyone to gather. Located in a nice neighborhood with nearby stores.

I have had my mother at 3 other places in Houston, I have found Cypress Assisted Living to be the best of the places that we have used in the east Houston area. If you are like me, and have tried a care home, we will soon find that there is no perfect care home. But we have definitely found Cypress to be the best of the ones that we tried for my mother. Their cost was a bit higher that some that we have used, however you do seem to get what you pay for. When looking we also found some that we more expensive than Cypress. And one of those certainly didn’t present as well as cypress. I just wish we would have found this home sooner. Also we found that this is a local owner facility, no big corporation controlling their activities.

The staff were very friendly. My husband's room was nice and clean and the food looked great.

Been going to this facility to visit often since June and I havre to say how kind and welcoming caregivers and front desk workers are. Very lively and friendly environment. Elderlies are getting treated with much respect and hospitality which is one of this facility’s most valuable qualities!

Everyone is very helpful. I would recommend to others.

This facility was intended for memory care for my husband but within a week it he was placed with hospice. He only lasted 10 days more. I can not say enough good things about this staff. From the owners, administrators and caregivers. They made us comfortable for those last 10 days. We were there 24/7. I would highly recommend this facility.

The staff and caregivers at the facility were very good. They came properly when called and tried to meet the needs of the patients. I would definitely recommend Cypress assisted living to others looking for care.

Smaller size so more attention to my loved one. Close to my home. Reputation of owner. It is a loving community that is responsive to residents and family. I would recommend.

I toured The Heritage of Cy Fair and it was really nice and big. There were only 10 residents when I toured. They had employees to cover everything needed. They had had a recent placement of new management and new employees. They offered a fantastic incentive to come and live there, however my concern was that not enough people would take advantage. In the back of my mind, I was concerned that I would have to move my loved one again if more people didn't come to live there.

I have a family member here for over a year and I am impressed with the care and compassion the staff gives him. There is always activities going and the I really enjoy be part of the activities. The nurse is always quick to reply with any problems that may occur. The ED is so friendly and helpful and always engaging with the residence. I recommend Cypress Assisted Living IV.

We toured with The Heritage of Cy Fair and they gave us a great tour with a lot of good information. I just did not get that feeling that I was looking for - it was not the right fit for us.

It's like my loved one has found a new family. The staff is very caring and very family-oriented. And their communication with me is good. The facility is very open and airy, and it exudes a happy feeling.

This was a very well run community that came highly recommend. This community was further from family and this was the downfall.

I really liked them. They were willing to work with us to get my loved one to eat the food she likes, which was really important to her. They really tried hard to help her and please her. I would bring in different foods, and they would cook it for her. They really took an interest in her. It was a smaller environment, which worked out better for her. She was able to make friends, and she got good care there.

The staff truly do care which is most important to me From the director all the way to maintenance they are helpful, all really care, they are always open to any suggestions, they give great feedback, and always return my call if I have a question. My mom is happy, alert, and she looks well, It has been a great experience They know right who my mom is and who i am, and they make that connection. The food was always good and the sous chef is awesome.

My Mother has lived at Autumn Leaves Cy Fair for several years. Over the years she has become more combative. Last week I had the sad occasion to see her during one of her episodes. She was verbally and physically abuse to her caregiver. The caregiver was nothing by kind and understanding. She was doing a very difficult job. Thank you Autumn Leaves for handling a very difficult situation with care and grace. [Name removed]

My loved one has been at this community for a few months. Her place is aways clean, and the people that live there are clean as well. The management staff go above and beyound for the seniors that live here and truly it feels like home. I absolutley feel like my mother is being taken care of physically as well as emotionally. Great Place !
