Incredible care, compassionate staff

I couldn't be happier with Twin Cedars and their amazing professionalism. In every single interaction with the staff, both myself and my mom have been treated with incredible respect and compassion. I was immediately impressed by the building. Beautiful rural setting and spotless clean. I visited at numerous times of the day and on holidays and the building never seemed understaffed. Mom and I were always able to find someone to help us with whatever we needed. Over time, I was on first name basis with many nurses and staff members. They take the time to acknowledge you and remember your concerns. I have been been tremendously impressed by the administration's response to the virus pandemic. They are taking it very seriously. I called the building and a nurse spent a great deal of time telling me about their preparations and new policies. Mom says she feels safe in their hands and i agree. I could not recommend this facility more if you want a safe, professional, and compassionate place for your family.

Best decision we ever made for our Mother

When it came time for my two brothers and I to decide Mom could no longer live alone we had to make that heart-wrenching decision to place her in a home. We live in New York and were not very happy with many of the facilities here. My older brother heard about Twin Cedars and the three of us had a discussion and we wanted to check it out. It was absolutely the best thing we could have done for our Mother. From the moment she got there the staff made her feel so welcomed that after only a couple weeks she told us she liked it there and didn't want to leave. The staff has now become part of our family and she gets better care there than we could have given her ourselves. The facility itself is always clean and neat inside and out, they always have clean clothes for the residents, snacks, movies, day trips to local places, exercises and many kinds of daily activities to keep the residents healthy and happy. Thank you Twin Cedars for all you do every day for our loved ones GOD BLESS YOU!

Classy, warm, and fantastic Assisted Living

What an amazing small quaint assisted living with so much class, energy and positivity! My aunt was at Twin Cedar assisted living and she enjoyed every minute of her stay. She made new friends and really loved the staff! She would call me up from time time so excited about the food they were serving last night, (kinda made me a little jealous). I would definitely recommend Twin Cedar Assisted living to my friends and colleagues.

Second to none

My Grandfather was at Twin Cedar assisted Living and He had the most incredible stay. The staff were always polite and understanding. The owner would always stop by and say hello and make sure that he was comfortable and that he had everything he needed. The food was excellent which is a rarity, especially in a assisted living. The overall experience was second to none!

Compassionate Staff

We couldn't recommend Twin Cedars enough. Friendly, compassionate staff, extremely clean facilitates, and professional people all around. We were looking for a good place for my girlfriend's mother. We had a number of bad experiences in other nursing homes, but we found Twin Cedars to be a breath of fresh air. Every employee we interacted with was extremely polite, diligent, and and professional. They take the time to get to know their patients as people, not just numbers on a checklist. It is so important to know your loved one is being care of someone with true compassion, and that is exactly what we found at Twin Cedars. Five stars for Twin Cedars. Our family couldn't be more grateful.

You have to see this home !

This home truly is a home ! Scheduled a tour , hesitant to go however I was glad I went , staff was so incredibly friendly, warm homey setting. I was explained everything in such detail, I knew just what I needed to know, and next steps to take. Very very clean. When I visited, residents living there seemed engaged in gatherings together so nice to see ! I have scheduled my move in !

The best place for my loving Mom

My Mom has been my best friend, confidant and partner in crime since I was a kid. She has lived with me for the last 20 years, we traveled together and had a wonderful time. However, accepting that it was time for her to move into another home environment was really difficult. I was hysterical and cried to [name removed]. She showed me such care and compassion that day, I knew this was the best place possible for my Mom. To this day, she remains sincere, caring and compassionate, to me and all the residents every day. Mom moved into Twin Cedars December [date removed]. I notice a lot when I visit my Mom. I see how the residents look, how they smell, I see how the staff members treat the residents and very important – I see how the residents react to the staff. I have said it before and I still say it today, I am so thankful they have a great staff. I know the heart of Twin Cedars begins with the owner, she really makes TC the wonderful place, a home. The staff is a direct reflection of that. They work very hard, I see it myself. They are so very good to the residents and joke and play with them. The whole feeling of TC is a very warm, caring and family environment. The staff has unending patience with me, my questions and some slightly over the top requests. On a great note, because of the care that my Mom has received over the last 10 months, I feel less protective and less worried as I know she is safe. I visit once a week and always feel welcome and happy there. I am thankful to all at Twin Cedars. The house (a beautiful ranch style, very large home) is always neat, clean, odor free and comfortable. The food that is served is well balanced and very tasty. There is a nice variety and they are always willing to help and offer choices. The activities and enrichment programs seem endless. You can tell that the people working there are doing with love in their hearts. Not only do they take care of your loved one, they help you adjust to the new life you will have. I cannot say enough positive wonderful things about Twin Cedars. Having them so close to my home is a real blessing. Thank you [name removed] and all the beautiful staff. I will see you soon!

Good Move For Us, Very Nice Community

My husband and I am doing very well here at this community. I really love all the staff, they are always willing to help. They are very friendly and helpful. I would have to say they have the best house keeping. They do a very good job with keeping the community neat and tidy. There are many activities available for the residents, they have nice selection too choose from. They do serve well balanced meals. I would recommend this community, it has worked out very well for us.

Twin Cedars - A Great Place for Mom

Twin Cedars is a great place. The owner, Tamara, is very compassionate and took the time to come see my mom and talk with her regarding her new living facility and to get an idea as to how her apartment was decorated so she can make mom more comfortable. My mom had some questions and Tamara answered them to her liking. Mom says she likes Twin Cedars. Everyone there is very friendly including the night help.....and, she loves the food! She also likes the fact that they have things for you to do all day and once a week (or more) they go out to special senior events in the area. At one time in her life, mom and dad ran a boarding house not too far from Twin Cedars, so she feels that she knows the area and, of course, likes the grounds around Twin Cedars. They have made a paved pathway around the area for the residents to walk. Tamara thought of everything for her residents.

Very Home-Like

Its very home-like. My mother feels more like she's at a bed and breakfast. The care givers are very gentle, caring, and observant. Because its a small community, there is a great deal of communication between the staff and the other residents. Everything has been going very well. We are very pleased. I would highly recommend the Briarwood Manor. It is very nice.
