Countryside Retirement Community

They were all wonderful! The facility is clean and in a very good part of town. It is a great place.

Everyone goes over and above. True story--[name removed] has a gorgeous asparagus patch on her homestead. The head cook let me bring in her final picking for the season and he prepared it just for her. It meant the world to her.

They have been great through mom's progression. She's gotten better now and is moving into an apartment soon. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would definitely recommend this community to other families. This place has been such a God-send for us! They have worked with us every step of the way. They have become our extended family!

I feel like even though my Dad is living there an an "Independent" resident, he is still somewhat monitored. We are currently experiencing an issue that has dragged on since the last week of February and cannot seem to get a clear answer from anyone. I have spoken to [names removed] several times; I have left Brook several voicemails; at least twice the Receptionist has taken messages; and last Monday I wrote a note on the March invoice to call me - no response as of today!

They've been more than accommodating. Especially since mom has had some balance issues while we are waiting for an apartment at The Courts. They are going over and above to make sure she is getting the care where/when she needs it.

Unfortunately I can only comment on the first three questions. I was very impressed with [name removed] when we went through the walk-through initially and picked her apartment. I thought they were very helpful and the building was very spotless clean there were no bad odors as I have found in other places that I have frequented. Overall this facility would be my choice to go to if I was faced with having to go into an assisted living facility. I think that they're doing a wonderful job.

We have not been able to go back and visit but from the tour and moving our friend in everything was jus spotless, you could tell the staff really keep the community clean, well maintained and there are not odors. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The apartments that are there are wonderful and just super super nice. There are a ton activities and overall it was our first choice and we would recommend this community to others.

My loved one, is very happy with the other residents and activities. It's a good place We chose this place because of the location. The staff is friendly. They are just great.

Unfortunately our loved ones stay was shorter then expected but it was to no fault of Brightside community. It is an excellent community and even though we were still getting used to the new routine and their procedures the care services were great. The staff were all wonderful and we had no complaints whatsoever

This is a nice community and they take pretty good care of my loved ones. They have activities like music events and more for the residents to participate in to keep busy and entertained.

It's quiet here. And it's a beautiful setting with nice landscaping and mature trees. We have attached garages. The square footage is comparable to what we were accustomed to in our house. It's really pleasant to be here. The neighbors are friendly. Of course there's a difference between independent and assisted living. In independent living, almost all of us have cars, so we're able to drive and get out and around. There's everything imaginable nearby - shopping, doctor offices, a hospital, all kinds of restaurants. It's very convenient. And Countryside Manor provides transportation for those in assisted living. Right now the dining rooms are not open except for those in assisted living. Similarly, they are also not doing planned activities for independent living right now due to Covid. Like every place else, they're having problems getting staffing, especially in the kitchen. But the dining room is beautiful, and prior to Covid, they were serving everybody. The price per meal was reasonable too.

[Name removed] was wonderful. She was very helpful and informative.

Staff is very accommodating. Getting the billing address corrected took several emails and phone calls. Once corrected, it was fine. I would recommend Countryside Manor to those looking for a retirement community.

countryside manor were extremely accommodating and flexible with my parents' situation and were able to get them in quick.

We have talked to them about the serving sizes of the food. They get full plates of food and it gets thrown away and wasted, we wish they could get smaller portions. For the most part it has been a good experience. The apartment sizes are pretty good, she has a 1 bedroom apartment with a living room, kitchenette, handicap accessible bathroom and a lot of closet space.

It's been a very welcoming place. I feel like is a great fit for our situation. The staff was very professional in helping us make our decision, and fell like it was the right thing to do for my loved one.

Overall it was pretty a good place, the meals seemed to be pretty high end. The activities seemed to also be pretty good, we would recommend this community to others. To us it was a pretty good experience

The room sizes and layout of the community was good. The food was good. My mom really liked the look of the community and the size of the units. I would say overall we had a positive experience at Countryside Manor.
