Go try the food first. The staff do a good job of keeping an eye on my loved one.

We had a good first impression from Inglenook. The facility is bigger but is very nice and they seemed to have a lot offered. The reason we did not choose them was because they have threshold bathrooms and there is a patio off of the rooms that you would have to take a step down to get to. If you have a loved one with mobility issues this may not be the best fit.

There are different levels of care and this community seemed to fit. The communication is good between the staff and the families.

Our family was able to do an in person tour and it was great, but it was an older facility. It is also close to 10 miles outside of Sacramento so the location was not ideal. However, they continued to follow up after the tour and were super helpful.

We have had a good experience with Inglenook. We chose this facility because of the value for the money, it is an older facility so it has some dings, but because it is older the rooms are nice and large. I would tell others to make sure to stay on top of things, you cannot just assume everything is being taken care of. I would definitely recommend to take a look.

This seemed like a nice place. The exterior and main areas are newly renovated. Not all of the rooms are. Those that are done have very high end finishes (marble counter top in kitchenette. Rooms are small and this place was by far the most expensive.

We have been very pleased with their chain of communication, they keep us well informed. My mother in law is in the nursing care unit, and they are taking care of her at the level of care that she needs.

My sister has been a resident for over a year. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Whenever there has been an emergency situation, they have responded timely and appropriate action was taken. They are very attentive to her individual needs. The apartments are the roomiest that we were able to find, with a very good amount of storage space. The food is adequate, and includes some very tasty soups. It is a very good value.

My husband was at Ramsey Village for a respite stay and they took very good care of him. We were off to a rough start because at first, they were asking him about his medications and other thing and never asked me. After a week or so things got better and they began to communicate with me. They bent over backward to accommodate him. The food was good and I appreciated that they got him into physical therapy while he was there

Everyone here is friendly and eager to help you with any question or problem . The rooms are nice and comfortable and easy to relax in. They also have a variety of events and activities you can partake in and enjoy if you wish.

I like this community for the good care that is offered. The staff is very nice and attentive to her needs. They are always wanting to make sure that things are going well for her. They stay on top of things and resolved them quickly. The food is very good and she is enjoying the meals. They offer her to participate in activities. We do recommend the care and value to other families.

Very nice place only have 10 apts but individual can continue to live there as their condition change. The staff and people very friendly doesn't have covered building for folks car. Very clean and did like facility

This facility is a little outdated, but clean and well kept. The staff is competent and friendly. The other residents are pretty nice here too. So far, we are having a pretty fair experience at this facility.

My mother is living there and she's doing well; her only complaint is probably that she struggles with the food and having to pay for the meals, other than that it's been going well for us.

We took a look at Inglenook At Brighton when looking for a place for my mother. It was a very nice place, very well kept up. Unfortunately she has really bad credit and because of that she was not able to get in.

The people there at Inglenook At Brighton are really great. It is an older building but clean and good shape and very nice. I like the view and the land that it is on. Overall everything has gone well and it has been a pleasant experience.

Great menu selections and plenty of activities to be involved in. Neighbors friendly and willing to help.

Very nice, met a woman that went to high school in Cristobal! Too far from Elk Grove and had too many men working at dining for Mom.

Golden Pond has gone through some changes recently and with the new person in charge. These changes seem to be for the better such as 2 hour flexible dining hours for breakfast, lunch and dinner and having all residents of the independent and assisted units eat in the same dining room . More social activities and entertainment for residents. Tranportation expansions. More hands on from staff.

I was impressed by the professionalism of the staff at Ramsey Village. It's clean and safe, clients are well treated. I recommend adding some music or television in the dining areas. Over all, a much better choice than others in the Des Moines area.
