We love living here! the amenities are perfect for us. It's peaceful sitting and bird watching on the back porch. The food is delicious. The common areas are tastefully decorated, and most of all, the staff is super helpful and friendly. We recommend Somerby highly!

I would recommend Somerby to anybody! Everyone here is so happy and carefree. From the staff to the residents. The facility is very clean and when you walk in the front door you feel welcome.

Somerby of Mobile is the BEST Mobile has to offer.

Talked with [name removed], did not do a tour, at this point the price would rule out this location. Though it is a true full service to end of life and bears consideration if others do not provide similar services in some manner. [name removed] was a good resource and did not dismiss me after the price discussion, but rather continued and had suggestions of other places to consider.

Decidedly upscale facilities in every aspect. All support requirements for the residents are available on site or transportation is provided as required for doctor appointments, etc. Hospice patients can remain at the facility until the end. No move to a nursing home. The rates are reasonable for the quality of the environment and facilities provided. Value received for the dollar spent is the best of all the facilities I visited. The physical location of the assisted living facility is secure and removed from busy traffic. At the time of my visit, there were only 2 units available out of the many choices of floor plan. I would have preferred to have a few more options but I believe the unit selected is fine.

I met with [name removed] who was very pleasant and noticed my anxiety level immediately. He was very calming and a pleasure to talk with. His also took all the necessary time to go over all the details with me. The residents were active and happy. The facility is also very clean.

This is a beautiful environment. There activities are plentiful and there are several options for dining. The downside is the horrible 400 traffic and they are building so much more along that corridor it will only get worse. Their prices, for me, are a bit too much. 2BED/2BTH-$4,895 per mo.$2,500 just to enter there for a residence which some others charge as well.

Somerby meets my needs at this stage of life : No meals to cook as they are prepared for you; activities around – your choices; housekeeping done weekly and best of all – so many nice people to meet and get to know, as well as a very able staff that offers help when needed. I am so blessed and happy here!

Very impressed with this facility! Our tour guide, [Removed], was very knowledgeable and took the time to not only show us through the facility, but also to make sure that all our questions were answered. The facility is clean, elegantly decorated and looks more like a fine hotel than a senior living facility - which is important in trying to convince our father to move to a facility. We were also impressed by the types of services (medical and social) that are included and available at The Bridges.

From the first time that I walked in I loved it. I find it that it’s the perfect place for my mother. I found out that she is a lot calmer now being there and everybody seems to love her. It’s been a good experience. The facility is beautiful, it’s clean, well kept, there is no odor, and it’s relatively a brand new facility (about a year old). The staff team is also very attentive toward my mother and they are interested in the details regarding her and her health. She gets along with the people there. Overall, it’s clean, nice, and friendly. I recommend.

The property is beautiful. The 2 bedroom 2 bath independent living apartment I looked at for my mother had a full kitchen and lots of closet space. A real plus compared to other properties.

This was a lovely facility but it was farther away and more difficult drive for me. They did share the most delicious carrot cake muffins.

I have lived in Somerby for over 5 years. My husband and I are both very active in the Somerby community. There are clubs and activities available offering a wide variety of interest. There are several exercise classes available to keep your body strong and healthy. There are bible studies, lots of socializing and many interesting people from a variety of different areas of the country.

February 13, 2016, proved to be a sad day for my dad. He lost the love of his life, my mom, after 66 years of wedding bliss. He was lost without her! After 6 months we saw that dad needed to be with people. We moved him into Independent living and his life took on new meaning! He loves his neighbors, the administration, and staff.

We toured this community for my mom's care. We liked the staff who were friendly and caring. The community appearing to have a good feeling.We would recommend this community for families to tour

Great facility. The workers here are exceptional. I receive very good service. I have no complaints.

Comfortable, safe facility, capable and caring staff, nurses, and CNAs and serving staff. I here is a wide choice of foods and one can always find something good. Activities provided frequently varied and offer something that everyone can enjoy.

Fabulous place, food and people. Very nice to have so many fellow veterans around too.

The only thing better than this 5 star facility is the 5 star employees who make this facility a 5 star community.

After much research, I chose Somerby late summer – 2014 and I am very pleased with my choice. I moved from a large house so it has been an adjustment. I love the staff! The food could be better - other than that, I’ll mark great.
