My mother enjoys Bella Care Home. It is beautiful and well cared for. The caregivers are caring and efficient. We appreciate the TLC my mother is receiving. Caregivers and owners give 100%.

Bella Care along with hospice, took excellent care of my father. The caregivers are very compassionate and capable. Everyone there is very responsive to family needs. We could not have been more confident about the care he received during his final days. I would highly recommend Bella Care to other families. They gave us such a piece of mind.

My family is very pleased with the care being given to my brother. This home is very clean, the meals are excellent and the caregivers are beyond wonderful.

After my mother (92) fell again, we felt she couldn't stay in assisted living any more but needed more supervision and assistance with daily living tasks. My home is in Seattle - a thousand miles away - but my husband and I spent almost 7 weeks in Clovis nursing her back to to health and exploring alternative living situations. During that time an employee at the assisted living facility gave me a list of potential board and care homes which I visited unannounced. Bella Care on Pierce was one of the first that I visited and I found some of the residents gathered around the television watching a major league baseball game. They were engaged and conversational & I knew this was the type of home I was looking for. At the time, Lyn and Phil were opening a second home just a block away and I visited that same afternoon. Both homes are lovely and have a residential (not institutional) look, beautiful landscaping with pools & space for sitting outside. The potential residents are evaluated to make sure they would be a good "fit" with the other residents. The owners, Marilyn and Phillip. are both charge nurses at a local hospital and are compassionate and caring individuals. I felt very comfortable "handing off" to them on my mom's medications as well as her total care.

I was impressed with the Bella Care Homes in Clovis. They offer so much more than the other board and care homes. I especially like the way the day is so organized so the residents are not just sitting in the recliner watching TV all day. The residents were at the table with puzzles, iPads and coloring books. They have exercise times. My mother who is 96 doesn't have dementia so she needed a place like this where it is peaceful and not disruptive. They were friendly and really cared about my mother. The living room is set up like a normal sitting and TV room. I would give it a 5 star rating on what I have seen.

We first became acquainted with Bella Care when looking for a place to move our Mother, who at the time was 92, from living in her own home. We initially didn't know where to start or what would be the best option in what type of facility would be best in fulfilling her needs. We turned to Gail [removed], who owns a company called, "A Choice for Seniors." Gail was a very knowledgeable woman who used to work for "A place for Mom." Gail explained the differences in each type of facility in Fresno and directed us to look at two facilities that were,"Board and Care homes." Gail supplied us with the names and numbers of each facility and we set up appointments the following day. My sister and I first went to look at Bella Care. A bright, clean cheerful environment with an aroma of delicious smelling food. We met with the owner, Len, who was a delightful, energetic and exceptionally knowledgeable Individual who explained everything there was to know about Bella Care. We left feeling most assured that this would be the most ideal place we could ever hope to find for our Mother. We went to see the second facility that was by no means anything like Bella Care. The atmosphere was dark and gloomy, the backyard pool was empty and the internal smell was not nearly as welcoming as Bella Care. When I asked one of the Caregivers why the pool was empty, her answer drew an immediate red flag. She told us they didn't have the money to maintain it. We didn't stay long at all and went back to Bella Care immediately, this time having our other sibling come and meet us there and see Bella Care for himself. He was extremely impressed and said there was absolutely NO comparison between either place. We all agreed in feeling this was a very safe and secure home. That was December 2014. From that day to the present, all three of us feel so fortunate we were able to find the absolute best, most wonderful all around care facility ever. Bella Care met everything and more than we were hoping to find for our Mother. It screams friendly and inviting from the moment you walk in it feels extremely homey, neat and clean. Len does all these incredible decorations for all the holidays which just adds to the ambience. Len has invited choirs and other entertainment to come and preform for the residents and it is very apparent every single resident finds this most enjoyable as well as including the families of the residents to come. Recently, they have a dog come and the residents really enjoy being able to pet and be around this adorable dog. I can't say enough positive things about the well balanced meals that are served three times a day. Whenever I have been there to see for myself; there has never been a time that all plates weren't perfectly clean. All the residents love the food! On the very first tour of Bella we asked one of the residents her opinion about the food--a true indicator in knowing for ourselves if she was pleased and we found her answer quite amusing when she replied, "I hope I never have to leave here." I have many friends who exchange stories of their own situations with their parents and the facilities they live in. This reinforces all the more the feeling of how blessed we feel each and every day to have our Mother living at Bella Care.

Bella Care Home LLC is a wonderful, professionally run-home. Living 4 hours away from Mom had made it so much easier knowing she is in loving care of Bella Care Home. Mom calls this her other home. She is very happy and well cared for and feels like a part of a family, not a patient in a facility. I look forward to visiting her there and catching up on how Mom's new friends are doing.

We are so happy we found Bella Care Home for our mother. The staff is caring, and the food is great. They make her feel loved and special, it's a wonderful place to live.

My mother was fortunate to have stayed at Bella for the last segment of her life. My wife and I did extensive research including visits with several homes before setting on Bella. Len and Phil run a top notch home at fair prices. It is very clean and always is fresh smelling. Len and Phil are very caring individuals and it shows in the final product. My mother was well taken care of and everything was as advertised. Mom didn't have a rosy disposition during this period and Bella worked with her to insure she was as comfortable as possible under the circumstances. They facilitated outside caregivers that were needed at times. There is a family atmosphere fostered by Bella and is unmatched in our experience. My mother had stayed at another care home a couple of years before her stay at Bella with stays at her own home and the hospital in between. We would give that previous home a fair rating but was far inferior to Bella. We became familiar with the ins and outs of care homes and Bella is tops. I recommend them very highly and have a high regard and respect for the professionalism and caring attitude of Phil and Len. I wouldn't hesitate for a minute having another loved one stay at Bella should they be in need of that type of living arrangement.

Bella Care Home has been a real asset to our family. Since our 94-year-old Mom fell and broke her hip last year, she has needed 24 hour care. The care that Bella Care Home LLC has given her has been incredible and Mom could not be happier. The caregivers and owners provide much in the way of attentiveness, activities and loving care. We are so thankful for the care they give to our mother.

When my mom broke her hip at 87 years of age, we decided to try one of the larger senior care facilities that looked great from the outside. However. it didn't take long to realize that mom was not being given the care that we wanted and that she deserved. Staff habitually made excuses about just starting their shift and constantly blamed other co-workers from mom's poor care. Our mom deserved the very best care and we asked arorund and were told that Bella Care Home LLC was an excellent senior facility. From the minute my mom arrived at Bella Care Home LLC, my brother and I knew we had made the right choice. The owners are nurses. They and their support staff are incredibly caring and extremely detailed with their residents. They treated mom like she was their own mother and how I hope to be treated as I age. Staff consistently communicated with us about every detail pertaining to mom's health. Family members felt welcomed and all staff are compassionate and kind. If your parent deserves the very best care like our mother, Bella Care is the place to be. They are the only care home I recommend.

My mother has been living at bella care home for a few months and I am very pleased with her care the owners and staff are wonderful.

My brother and I placed our 96 year old mom into Bella Care home on 5/30/17. Mom was very apprehensive about going there but once she saw the home, met the other residents and staff, her fears went away. She is very content there, she receives the care she needs. She has commented the staff is very responsive to her needs and very friendly, she is very comfortable with the daily routine. My first impression of the home was how clean it was, smelled good and looked like a home not a care facility...max residents is 6, I like how the residents eat together, get together for exercise and companionship. The caregivers encourage the residents to get up and dressed each day. I have witnessed the caregivers with my mom and other residents and they are professional and show compassion towards them. I would highly recommend this facility...My brother and I have peace of mind that mom is in such a nice place. In talking with family members of other residents, they feel the same way.

My Mom hasn't been here very long but, we are very pleased with the caring staff and the owners kindness and attention. It is a beautiful and clean home and the attention Mom gets allows me to not worry so much about her. I highly recommend Bella Care.

After my sister had a number of strokes which left her wheelchair-bound and unable to care for herself, she was lucky enough to find the Bella care home on Houston Avenue in Fresno. She’s been there for more than a year now and continues to do much better than I thought she could. I’m very pleased with the activities and level of care that she’s received.
