Avita is a great place to live. My favorite thing about living at Avita is being able to go fishing at the pond. Food is decent and the staff and other residents are even better. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!

We had a wonderful tour experience with Ascension Living - we did not meet anyone who wasn't overly friendly. The apartments were extremely nice. It is all independent living but you are able to hire care if needed. My loved ones just needed more care and it did not suit our needs, but it was a great place if you are more independent.

Our family had an in person tour and it was nice but the independent living had more like condo apartment and that unfortunately was not going to fit our loved ones needs.

It was brand new, all the people there seemed really happy, it was pretty comparable to reflection ridge except it was smaller. It's hard to say how a new place will be after a while but it seemed nice.

I toured Via Christi Village Georgetown while looking for a place for my grandmother. I did like the community. The rooms were definitely bigger and better than rooms in other communities I had seen. The real estate was definitely better, but it seemed to lack the bright comfort that I was looking for, and I also felt the community was very big. I worried it would be confusing for my grandmother, so we did not move here.

I thought this looked like a nice community when I toured it. The person that took us on tour was friendly and helpful. This community just did not seem like one I might be interested in.

It is a fancy looking place but not as nice on the inside. I would not move her again given the choice. People are moving out. The food has gone down since they changed companies in March. You do not get many choices. I like Diet Sprite and they never have it in stock. We used to have choices. They run out of a lot of things. They took away all the snacks they use to offer. They have cut a lot of services. A lot of the residents complain that they are treated like children. They come into your apartments without knocks. Not all the staff are wearing masks.

I toured here while looking for living options for my loved one, and while the community looked nice, it was very small. The dining room only had 2 or3 tables, and the apartments were tiny. They were only about 300 square feet. I couldn't imagine being able to fit my loved one's furniture inside. We opted for a place with a more spacious environment.

This facility does not have an activities director at this time therefore the activities are very limited. You also don't have much choice if you don't like what is being served it's either tomato soup and grilled cheese or a weenie on a bun for an alternate choice. Other asst living facilities offer a full menu for their residents.The turn over in cleaning staff is very frequent they are supposed to change the sheets once a week and clean the room some times this happens and sometimes it doesn't. On a more positive note I feel the nursing staff is very friendly and try very hard to do a good job.

My concern with this community was that they have strange meals hours. When we realized that I did not think this was the community for my mother, and her needs.

Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this facility for elderly adults. In my time there, I observed inconsistent staff, including frequent use of agency employees who were not familiar with residents, and administration that did not seem to know or engage with those in their care. I also felt that families were misled about the level of care provided, and even basic considerations—like keeping visitor parking available—were not respected. From my experience, this facility is not equipped to handle increased care needs. My mother is no longer there, but I remain concerned for those who are. I share this so families can make informed decisions based on my personal observations

With the memory care staff having to do everything from serving food to washing the dishes to cleaning the rooms to laundry patient care has isn’t happening . Management refuse to help when asked. Family have complained about Al staff just sitting when they come in to visit their loved ones .

Not a good place, needs new administration, Incompetent all 3 of them.
