Friendly staff, beautiful facility, decent food, nice bistro area with entertainment. Only negative feedback would be lack of follow up from clinical director regarding hygiene concerns..

The Carillon at Belleview Station has everything you would expect from a senior care community and more. Yes, we have assisted living, but it's a bit more personalized and flexible. And yes, we have memory care, but it's a bit more comprehensive and thoughtful. But to really see who we are, it's...

My dad is living here and we have been very happy with the service. They have had a little bit of turnover, but more than anything. The people who work there seem to really care and go above and beyond.

Best in the area with the friendliest people

I just love Windsong at Northridge so much. I can text the staff or call them and they always call back. They are absolutely wonderful and honest and upfront about absolutely everything and I really appreciate that. I had visited about 6 different places and Windsong at Northridge was by far the best. They are also fully staffed which is huge especially in this day and age.

I would recommend

We chose The Carillon because of the opportunity for her to progress into assisted living and she can stay in her current apartment and they would bring assistance to her rather than having to change rooms. The apartment sizes here are really good. They've done exceptionally well with activities especially coming out of covid. They have undergone a change in staff so the food is good, but the service is not quite as good as it could be. I would recommend to others looking.

Definitely a contender. I loved how even the building was designed to let the clients to do the tasks etc. that help them feel a little more independent but with supervision (ie. a full kitchen in the middle of the common area so they can cook safely with appropriate supervision, and they can do their own laundry if they choose to with supervision). New, clean, well designed building. Love the Montessori approach to care!!!!

We have had a good experience

We chose Renew Roaring Fork because it was a newer and it was the nicest facility in our area. They also offered assisted living that can transition into memory care. The room sizes here are great, they are exceptional in comparison to others we looked into. Overall, the facility is very clean and it does not look institutional at all, it looks more like a nice hotel. I would recommend.

Excellent Assisted Living in the Tech Center

Excellent staff that are receptive and care about the residents. Beautiful assisted living and the apartments are spacious and modern. The common area is spacious and has some great areas to sit and talk when visiting. They truly care about the residents and communicate well with the family. A truly wonderful assisted living with people who take pride in their work and try to make the adjustment to assisted living easy and create a home like, friendly environment.

The staff is great and there are lots of pertinent activities. My mom doesn't like the food. I would recommend this facility to others who are currently searching for a place for their loved one.

There are room for improvements, but we have had no issues with the cleanliness of the staff. The staff are very friendly and personable. The activities seem to be very good

Our Experience

I would recommend the facility. The food quality is good, just not particularly tasty. For the most part, the staff are great but they don't stick around. So there's the problem of trainees all the time. Move in process was easy and they were very helpful when we moved internally several times. Families must remain very engaged in their loved ones care. And, they need the caregivers to see them engaged. That is the best way to keep communication open and working. It is my experience that all care facilities have problems and we had some too. But because we were talking with folks on a regular basis, they really listened when there was a problem and worked hard to make it right.

High quality with lots of care options

The building is beautiful and very clean. The apartments are simple, but adequate for what is needed. The staff is very friendly and seems to genuinely care about the residents. The housekeeping is a hit or miss- they don't always get to the things they say they'll do daily, but I'm sure they are short staffed some days, like any facility. The laundry is done once a week, but sometimes comes back in the basket barely folded or not at all. Once, it was perfectly folded! The light cleaning seems to happen on time weekly. They are pretty good about emptying trash so there's never any bad smells around. The food is good, but not as neat as they show in the advertising videos. They are quick to get to know the residents and their preferences. The main concern that we've had is the time it takes to get assistance for the things we're paying for on the care list- like help dressing, etc. Major emergencies do get quick attention if the cord on the wall is pulled, but the pendant buttons are a long wait for assistance. Probably again, due to staffing, which is going to happen at any Assisted Living Facility, so it seems.

Would Recommend

The building is a lovely place. It's cheerful. The apartments are spacious, with new kitchens. The maintenance team is very responsive if there are any issues. The people are very friendly. The staff for assisted living turns over quite a bit and has not been quite as effective as we had hoped. But overall we're happy that our folks are at The Carillon!

Mom is happy

When I went in here and they quoted me a price, they never said anything about the initiation fee, that was expensive but I know that happens everywhere. I would give the staff a 5 plus, when you walk in everyone knows your name - it feels like you are at church. My mom is happy and that is all that matters. Everything has worked out great and we would absolutely recommend them.

A great community, with an even better layout

I like Windsong at Northridge, the activities, and the fact that there is a roundabout for my husband to walk around. I looked at other facilities that just had one long strip, with activities on one end and dining on the other. Some were built like a hotel and my husband would have been lost. He needs to clear his mind and walk around, and that part of it seems to really help him. Instead of him wanting to escape, he feels like he already has because of the layout. The layout is great, it’s built like a circle with different stations and activities within that circle. Every corner you turn it's something different. The circular layout is perfect for those who like to wander. They have small pool tables and you’ll see the residents sitting with one another as if they’re in a café. It’s very appealing. The staff hang up the residents' names and photos of themselves on their doors so they can recognize what room belongs to them. Sundays seem to be the only day they are running short on staff and I think they should keep regular staffing on Sundays. I have visited on Sundays and seen residents kind of wandering around. I'm unsure if they've made that change or not. Other than that, they are great and they treat him well. They’ll call me immediately if there is an incident and we work to get it resolved instantly. Overall I really like Windsong.

Struggling

This memory care home is struggling. There have been numerous changes with staff, not just the care staff but management as well. They are only about 1/2 full possibly because they raised the price of a room by [removed] a month in October. They do not have transportation to medical appointments, yet only for field trips. They are very low staffed. Calls made by our loved one go unanswered often. I know they are trying to get better staff and take care of residents but they are a work in progress.
