There are room for improvements, but we have had no issues with the cleanliness of the staff. The staff are very friendly and personable. The activities seem to be very good

The Carillon at Belleview Station has everything you would expect from a senior care community and more. Yes, we have assisted living, but it's a bit more personalized and flexible. And yes, we have memory care, but it's a bit more comprehensive and thoughtful. But to really see who we are, it's...

Would Recommend

The building is a lovely place. It's cheerful. The apartments are spacious, with new kitchens. The maintenance team is very responsive if there are any issues. The people are very friendly. The staff for assisted living turns over quite a bit and has not been quite as effective as we had hoped. But overall we're happy that our folks are at The Carillon!

I toured this facility and it was nice. A little more expensive than what we were looking for.

Mom is happy

When I went in here and they quoted me a price, they never said anything about the initiation fee, that was expensive but I know that happens everywhere. I would give the staff a 5 plus, when you walk in everyone knows your name - it feels like you are at church. My mom is happy and that is all that matters. Everything has worked out great and we would absolutely recommend them.

A great community, with an even better layout

I like Windsong at Northridge, the activities, and the fact that there is a roundabout for my husband to walk around. I looked at other facilities that just had one long strip, with activities on one end and dining on the other. Some were built like a hotel and my husband would have been lost. He needs to clear his mind and walk around, and that part of it seems to really help him. Instead of him wanting to escape, he feels like he already has because of the layout. The layout is great, it’s built like a circle with different stations and activities within that circle. Every corner you turn it's something different. The circular layout is perfect for those who like to wander. They have small pool tables and you’ll see the residents sitting with one another as if they’re in a café. It’s very appealing. The staff hang up the residents' names and photos of themselves on their doors so they can recognize what room belongs to them. Sundays seem to be the only day they are running short on staff and I think they should keep regular staffing on Sundays. I have visited on Sundays and seen residents kind of wandering around. I'm unsure if they've made that change or not. Other than that, they are great and they treat him well. They’ll call me immediately if there is an incident and we work to get it resolved instantly. Overall I really like Windsong.

great place for mom

you can feel confident their loved one will be well-taken care and safe. Room size is good, the food is hit or miss, breakfast, and lunch is great but dinner could be improved I would recommend this community to others.

Overall a great place to live.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The facility is beautiful. We had a couple of issues when my parents moved in and I got the impression that the business office did not care about the experience once the paperwork was signed.

Struggling

This memory care home is struggling. There have been numerous changes with staff, not just the care staff but management as well. They are only about 1/2 full possibly because they raised the price of a room by [removed] a month in October. They do not have transportation to medical appointments, yet only for field trips. They are very low staffed. Calls made by our loved one go unanswered often. I know they are trying to get better staff and take care of residents but they are a work in progress.

Nice community with areas of improvement

The staff is friendly but were not knowledgeable or helpful when my parents moved it. Maintenance has been unresponsive. The other residents were more helpful when we had questions. It felt like the staff was not expecting us to show up even though I had told them several times when they were moving in. I would recommend the community because my parents are happy there, but would advise that the staff was not helpful with the move in process

Over promised and under delivered

It's a beautiful place but I felt they under delivered on their services. We chose this community for a combination of how they presented the place to us as it was stunningly beautiful, the level of care, and the amenities. The food is okay now, but when she moved in the food was spectacular. i would be a little cautious in recommending this community depending on what your family member needs.

Strongly Advise Against Placing Loved Ones at Village at Belmar

Our family's experience with the Memory Care unit at Village at Belmar was deeply disappointing and disheartening. Initially, the caregiving team demonstrated a high level of attentiveness and compassion. Our father had a few very qualified and empathic caregivers when he first arrived. However, a change in management led to a noticeable decline in the quality of care provided. The unit soon became staffed with individuals lacking experience in memory care or was filled with caregivers from outside agencies. The result was a significant lapse in the attention and care given to residents, who are highly dependent on consistent and skilled caregiving. The occurrence of improper care became increasingly common. We were fortunate enough to be able to visit our father daily, however, it was distressing to witness the deterioration in the level of care he received. Regrettably, our father passed away, due to an illness, while he was in the facility. The management's communication followin

The worst!

6 chefs in 3 years, 4 directors, 6 nurses, medication screw ups, terrible food, terrible house keeping, rude owners, lack of attention on maintenance in apartments, break ins in parking lot, lack of care in the memory care …….. need we say more? I would give ZERO stars if it were an option!

Tour was done with completely unprofessional sales person. She gossiped about current residents and wanted to know details of how my relative tried to attempt suicide . Very unprofessionall and not someone that should be working with families looking at the best environment for their loved one. I should have left even befor the physical tour began.
