I have been in many Assisted Living communities in the Salt Lake area over the years and Canyon Creek has consistently been one that stands out. Right when you walk in, it feels welcoming and friendly. It is clean, and the building layout is ‘user friendly’ for seniors. I am always very impressed with the way that the staff seems to really enjoy being there and that they all help out whenever and wherever needed to make sure that their residents are being cared for and their needs are being met. It is in a very central location that makes it easy to get to from anywhere in the valley. Canyon Creek should definitely be at the top of your list when looking into Assisted Living or Memory Care.

When you first walk into Canyon Creek, you are greeted by very friendly receptionists and staff. The servers and the cook make food that not only looks so good, but it also tastes very good. The staff bends over backwards for the residents and there are so many fun things that you can do here. Whether we are taking a surprise scenic ride, doing exercise, going on a walking group, or enjoying our time relaxing by the creek, there is something for everyone. I thoroughly have enjoyed living here.

I just wanted to take a moment and express to you my gratitude for providing such excellent care for my father. Before coming to your community at the end of August, he was declining. He seemed to have no life in him; no reason for living. Since moving to your community, he has come back to life. He is happy. His health is improving. Your staff has provided such excellent care for him and I couldn't be happier with the move. I have had the opportunity to be in many facilities and communities around the Salt Lake Valley, and I truly believe that the care and service your staff provides to the residents is unsurpassed. The staff members are always helpful and friendly and go the extra mile to make everyone feel welcome. I sincerely appreciate everything you do for my father and for the excellent care you provide.

I have volunteered at several activities at this facility and the staff has always been extrememly friendly and helpful. The community is clean and very well run. I have always been impressed with the variety of activities they provide for their residents.

I have been to Golden Living doing jewelry parties for the residents and staff. The facility is always clean, staff is friendly and lunch is always wonderful. When the time comes to find a place for my parents this is the only stop on my list. I know they will receive the care that they will need and be able to be independent.

I toured Canyon Creek with a friend who was looking at communities for a family member. I was very impressed with the attentiveness of the staff, and how happy the residents looked. It looks like they do fun activities, and the building was very clean.

My stepfather has been a resident of Golden Living in Taylorsville for the past 18 months. Although it took some convincing to get him to move in, he now calls it home, and really loves living here. He enjoys the activities, and has been to Wendover, the movies, ballgames, and on mountain getaway picnics. He raves all the time about the food, and has gain 16 pounds since moving in. The care staff and all the employees go above and beyond to make him feel welcome and at home. I am so pleased with the service we get, and am happy that he is happy.

I really enjoyed touring Canyon Creek. The building has such an inviting and warm feeling. You can tell the residents are well taken care of, and the staff enjoys working there. The community has a nice smell and is very clean. The creek is absolutely beautiful and gives the building a great atmosphere. I would recommend Canyon Creek to anyone who is looking for a fantastic assisted living or memory care for a family member.

I'm a resident of Golden Living and I am very happy. I don't have to do any chores or cook any meals. All I have to do is make my bed in the morning. I'm free to do whatever I want the rest of the day. We have games and bands that come to play for us. They take us on trips. Today they went to see the dinosaurs in Ogden. They also have started a walking class. There is a first, second and third class and if we make our walking goal we get to have a Disneyland party. We make different things like hats and flower pots. We have movies if you want to go to them. We also have Mormon church on Sunday's, Monday and Wednesday night. Also they have Catholic services and services for other denominations. Everyone is very friendly. We often have real good times outside. We eat outside when it's warm. Every year we have a car show which is coming up real soon.

As a service professional, I was greatly impressed with the level of care and concern that Golden Living has for their facility and their residences. They have a continual stream of great activities with community involvement to compliment a very warm atmosphere with extremely caring professionals. This is home.

I am a healthcare professional, and had the opportunity to tour Canyon Creek Assisted Living. I was very impressed with the staff members, as well as the cleanliness of the building. The residents appeared to be very happy with where they live. I would recommend Canyon Creek to seniors and families who are looking into assisted living communities.

Moving here was a totally unexpected surprise. Turns out Canyon Creek is above and beyond anything I could have ever expected. The staff is the cream of the crop and has been tremendous with their care. Canyon Creek exhibits what good quality assisted livings are all about.

I have been in this assisted living as both a CNA and then after many years of experience, now a health care business owner. They provide exceptional care with great activities for the residents. I would recommend this beautiful facility to everyone!

When I first moved here, I found out how friendly the people are, and I started to feel right at home from the first. I still really enjoy living here.

I have been very happy here at Canyon Creek. Everybody has been so friendly and accommodating and you can see they are trying to make the people here happy. I have enjoyed doing all the special activities. I used to be a bailiff in the Supreme Court and that made me a very sociable person, I have made many friends here.

I think Canyon Creek is a very friendly place. It has everything I need for my comfort, staff are always friendly and willing to help whenever needed. I believe it is the nicest community in the Valley. I personally love to do puzzles, as it keeps my mind active.

I was involved with Intermountain Therapy Animals and took my bulldog Bruzer to Canyon Creek on activity day. The was staff was always welcoming and wonderful to the residents. I really enjoyed our visits, the building was so clean and well kept. The residents were always so happy and enjoyed their home at Canyon Creek. a great location next to the creek in Cottonwood Heights.

I think they do a great job at Canyon Creek! The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, and they've always had an answer for any question I've asked them. The facility itself is well kept and clean, and they have a good variety of services and activities to provide the residents. My only complaints are that sometimes (especially on the weekend) response times to the in-room call buttons are slow, and I also believe they could improve the food service a little.

In the three months I've been here, I have found the staff both managers and caregivers to be professional and responsive to my own personal needs and the needs of others. Generally speaking I find the community to be clean and well taken care of. There are a variety of activities offered throughout the day. The executive director is visible and accessible througout the week and on the weekends which is a huge compliment.
