A very new 5 year old facility with excellent programs and staff. If there is an emergency they respond immediately. The classes they provide are many and great fun. They also provide entertainment such as movies and musical events... always something to do or celebrate!

My mother hadn’t made adequate plans for her care as she reached her late 90s, so when COVID hit, my brother, mother, and I, all living in different states, had to work quickly to find her a safe and satisfactory new home. From start to finish, Anthology’s staff went above and beyond to speedily settle her in a lovely apartment, assess and provide her needed care, offer good, healthful meals and abundant activities, and treat her with compassion and respect. She was not the easiest person to get along with, but everyone at Anthology treated her with good grace and affection. Knowing my mom was in such good hands during the final years of her life gave me and my brother great peace of mind, and we are grateful to all who contributed to that. Highly, enthusiastically recommended!

My 81-year-old Mother has been at Anthology of Simsbury for almost 1.5 years. When she got sick, she went from an active and fully functioning lady to completely wheelchair bound and unable to do any of her “activities of daily living” in FOUR months. Needless to say, it was terrible! Anthology has been a Godsend to me and my family. All the Staff at the Facility are wonderful! My Mom is in the Memory Care Unit (requires 24-hour hands-on care), and I happily report that the Care Providers are AMAZING!! Anthology is blessed to have some of the most caring and kind people as their Team Members. This Unit is staffed with a Nurse on all shifts, the Facility is clean, and the food is very good. Anthology has an amazing “Enrichment” Staff, charged with activities and entertainment; I appreciate that my Mom can be in the company of others, get outside on nicer days, and see/listen to performances and programs on a weekly basis. Anthology gives me peace of mind and I am deeply grateful!!

My husband and I think of Anthology of Simsbury as our extended family. The residents and staff members are all so supportive and friendly. Our apartment is really great and perfect for us, and maid service weekly is fantastic. We feel fortunate to live here and our children have a sense of security for us as well. Thank you Anthology!

Beautiful inside and out. Great option to keep busy. Theater, golf simulator, pub, outside TV, outside fire pit, workout room. Everything is clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Great opportunities to socialize. Food is wonderful with great options. Rooms are beautiful with great views.

I’ve only been here one month. I’m impressed by how kind and helpful the staff are. I feel as though I’m living at a 5??????????hotel, all staff as well as residents show such respect and kindness. Best decision I made since the birth of my sweet daughter.

Over a year ago I started researching senior living places. I studied numerous brochures, and actually visited 10 places. After living for 49 years in our home, this move was going to be a huge change for us. I kept in contact with Aleathea while Anthology was under construction. We were so impressed just walking into the lobby that very first time that we knew it would be our “forever home”. It is light, bright and cheery! Not only the staff but also the residents are so welcoming. The food is way too good here! The kitchen staff go out of their way to please you. Everyone knows your name after a very short time, and we are all “family”. There are so many activities here, and they provide entertainment on a weekly basis. The staff goes out of their way to assist you with anything you need. We felt we were 1-2 years away from moving, but after touring we actually moved only 10 days later. We absolutely love our new home. ?? It is perfect! Stop in to see us while you are on tour.

We never thought we would find an assistant living facility which combines a staff that genuinely cares for its elder clients, having an almost new facility, serving food that compares with a 4-star restaurant, along with a group of fellow residents who embrace you as longtime friends. The entire staff at Anthology of Farmington are friendly, professional, attentive, and compassionate. From (1) [name removed] , the Sales manager who is engaged in the day-to-day nuances to ensure everyone's needs are met, (2) the nursing team and aids attending to our mom in a way that allows her to make progress in her recovery but ensuring that she remains safe, (3) the dining room staff serving meals that were freshly prepared and served in a dining room that was elegant and cozy. I highly recommend Anthology of Farmington to anyone who is looking for a quality and affordable place.

My brother was previously a resident of Anthology of Farmington and this facility was perfect for him. I wish we could have afforded to get him there earlier. He didn't get to live there for a full year. Everything at Anthology of Farmington was great for my brother.

It is a good facility with a great and friendly staff. When I first got here I couldn't do much for myself, due to a previous injury. They did a good job of taking care of me. Now, I'm much more independent and I can do everything myself. It's a very new building, so the apartments are new. However, the apartments are very inaccessible even though they're built for people with disabilities. That's my biggest complaint. I would definitely recommend it here.

Our experience has been overwhelmingly positive, they get 5 stars across the board. We would absolutely recommend Anthology of Farmington to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

Anthology of Farmington is a great place and has been perfect for my brother. I shopped around the West Hartford / Avon / Farmington area. At Anthology - the facility is clean. The food great. The amenities are unparalleled. The people are friendly. And the prices are all similar.

Good community, it was further from family than we wanted.

My loved one has been very well cared for here. The staff are attentive and know the procedures to get my loved one to the hospital when needed. The staff communication with the family is good when we can ahold of them. There are three meals a day served to the residents. This is a community I would recommend to others.

I think the place and staff is terrific! It's my second place.... moved my folks there from another place. As usual there are snags, but the staff is very eager to resolve concerns. I cannot speak to activities.... my mom isn't a participant, other wise I'd give all a 5, meals and dinning I would give a 6! The daily specials menu choices are huge! And the standard menu has multiple choices as well! The staff I have dealt with are very good and I live very far way and I have cell phone numbers and emails of many. They are very flexible and try to fit your needs.

After we heard the diagnosis that my mother in law has severe dementia we were devastated. After a lot of soul searching, and knowing this was a very difficult decision to make putting my mother in law in a secure memory care facility. We fell in love with Anthology of Simsbury immediately that this was the place for her. It is very homey and everyone is beyond helpful. My mother in law loves the place and she is always smiling and talking to everyone. We know she is happy and that gives us peace of mind and relief.

Getting moved into Anthology of Simsbury was an easy process They kept us up to date with what was going on and prepared my family member for what was going to happen when he got here. I was very impressed. With activities, they're always doing something. And the care has all been excellent.

Our family had an in person tour and [name removed] who we believe might of been the director was wonderful. She was just so welcoming and we felt very upbeat and relived once we left Anthology. However we did not choose it because the location was a little difficult for us to get to, and it is newer so they have a bunch of tech things and given our loved ones age and dementia state we just did not think that would be in her comfort zone.

I would tell others that this is a great place for your loved one. I would recommend you still stay on top of follow through in care by the staff for your loved one. The new Executive Director has been able to assist the staff and the residents in getting well acquainted in the community and with each other. The communication with the staff is wonderful and they are always available to answer a question or address a concern I may have. The apple strudel is very good that I had. The food smells and looks wonderful. The staff are helpful to ensure all the residents are fed in a timely manner. They work with dietary restrictions for the residents. There is a weekly menu that is updated. The staff are very sweet with my loved one and the interaction is great with the care managers and my loved one.

Our family had an in person tour and the staff were very professional and from an physically appearance a very nice looking building. However from a geographical standpoint it was just too far from where we were living at the time.
