The staff here was very nice. I did not think that they would be able to give my mom the care that were were looking for here.

I spent some time looking at this community and I thought this was an older facility. My tour guide did the best they could do and they gave me good information and was very responsive. It seemed as if they would not be able to provide one on one care for my dad. They seemed to have a lot of residents to care for here.

My mother lives here and it is very nice in most respects, friendly staff and nice facility but the food is very disappointing. It's too bad that these people can't get consistently good food. Someone needs to address this issue.

I looked here when I was touring. I liked them, the facility was beautiful. It was recently redone, and looked fantastic. But I wouldn't use them because they have locked rooms. When I asked what they would do if there was a fire, they told me that they would go room to room, and get each resident and put a pillow outside the door to know that they had gotten that one. That did seem very safe to me. They also had recently reopened and didn't have many residents when I toured. I felt there wouldn't be enough social interaction for my loved one. There were only two staff members and a chef when I toured, the chef seemed very knowledgeable. I did notice that after lunch, the two staff members helped the residents to the restrooms and then back to their rooms, and then came back out and sat down to watch t.v. I thought that they could have done something with the residents, initiate an activity or something. We didn't choose them.

The common areas are kept clean. It would be nice to see my loved one's cleaned more thoroughly. The dining room and meals are very nice. The community keeps the residents very well entertained. There was an incident where the community dispensed the wrong medication to my loved one, and this caused a major health concern for my loved one. The community is trying to retrain staff and find another full time med tech to to dispense the proper medications to the residents. I've noticed that on the weekends there is less staffing and less oversight of the staff than during the week. I would recommend you visit your loved one on the weekends more often than during the weekdays.

In the beginning it was great and then they fired the ED, the nurse, the med tech and others. They lost about 6 to 8 residents. The new management was not good. They didn't have a nurse, went through staff and still do not have a licensed ED. The new nurse they hired is rude. I moved my mom out.

Have noticed lately that some of the staff that has been there since the beginning is no longer there anymore. They are now short staffed and are being [Removed] by corporate to work extra hours. The feel of the place is no longer warming to come into. You can tell the staff is stressed. The residents look disheveled and unhappy. Wondering what's happened to this community

Prior to change in management in early December 2022, we were happy with this place. But it went downhill fast after new management. They fired a lot of staff and hired new staff that apparently have no training on caring for people with dementia/Alzheimers. Our loved one was mistreated and had bruises on them. Staff also yelled at family members when they visited. Staff recommended that our loved one to be “sedated,” even though only a doctor can make this recommendation. We had to move our loved one to another memory care home. Several residents have already been moved out due to the current environment. I would not recommend putting your loved one in this place.

My mother has lived here for 2 yrs. Recent changes make this place terrible. Management is terrible along with a complete staff turnover. They are rude and have NO training with these memory impaired residents. Recently there was no hot water for over a week and no showers were given to anyone. Disgraceful.

The community told the family not to come see our loved one for five days to allow my loved one adjust to the community. I received a call from hospice about my loved one being taken to the hospital, and not the community calling us. The clothes were dirty that my loved one were in, when they showed up at the hospital. My loved one was here for a very short amount of time before passing at another location outside of the community. The community told the family that they didn't have time to make phone calls to us about our loved one. I cannot recommend the community to others.
