Windsor House Greenville FHE, LLC

My parents have been residents for close to 5 years. The staff has always been available for anything they needed but went above and beyond recently. My Dad was in hospice and requiring a lot more care than normal when the hospice caregivers were not at the facility. The staff did everything they needed to do so my parents could be together at this stage of life. They insisted my Dad would spend his last days in what had become his home. Windsor House Greenville went above and beyond and I am eternally grateful!

The staff is always friendly and willing to help in any way to make our family resident comfortable. The staff also communicates with family members on a regular basis, with regard to our family resident and the activities happening at the facility. Our family greatly appreciates the flexibility of the staff.

My parents entered WH in[date removed] during difficult Covid times and my parents experiencing limited mobility and other daily care items such as taking proper medications, eating regular meals and generally limiting their interaction with others.. That quickly changed for both of them with the care of the WH staff and within a few months with regular PT and OT they had much improved mobility.. Also regular administration of meds with regular meals positively improved their overall health.. Fast forward to [date removed] and both were also being cared for as hospice patients. The coordination with WH staff and the VIA hospice staff was done very professionally., My father’s recent passing was challenging and affected the WH staff deeply indicating their long term commitment and relationships with my parents.. The transition for my mother has gone very well as WH has focused on keeping my mother well cared for.. I appreciate the entire WH family like approach to care for their residents.,

My mother moved into Windsor House in [date removed] and although it was difficult for her at first, everyone made her feel welcomed and seen. She enjoys the friendships she has made. I am thankful to the staff for caring for my mother.

Great overall experience. Facility is very clean. Staff and personnel are very very friendly. The quality of care is excellent. Admin staff is friendly, kind and concerned about patient care. Food seems overall good Southern cooking. Activities are fine and could have some additional ones like music. They have a piano on premises but I am not aware of any programs with music. Value for money. This is why I chose Windsor House. It was very friendly and homey. It is small enough for people to know each other and staff. It feels homey not like an institution. My family did not need a kitchenette or refrigerator so his studio apartment is a perfect for him.

Longwood Plantation took excellent care of my father. They kept us informed and I couldn't have asked for better support. It was a difficult move for my father while I live out of state but they went out of their way to ensure a smooth transition. I would highly recommend them.

Our family had an in person tour and the staff there were amazing, they were so kind and you could tell it was just not for sure but that is was genuine. However the community itself needs some TLC, it was not bright or welcoming or felt just very dark

Looked very nice but was more expensive.

It is wonderful they are absolutely fantastic all around and have been very helpful to my husband. He is now in hospice and that portion is also absolutely outstanding.

Longwood Plantation and its memory care unit Magnolia Place were perfect for my mother when she needed assisted living then additional care as her dementia progressed. The staff treated her like family and provided the kind of assistance and care she needed, and Longwood's location in Orangeburg made it easy for me to visit regularly as well. My mother spent her final years in a safe and loving environment and was very happy there.

The staff at this community is friendly and helpful. Mom has started to participate in some of the daily activities they offer. She has started making friends. The community is really nice and well taken care of. The food is ok and I would recommend community.

Clean & Friendly Place

My mother has been in several different facilities and nursing homes, but we have found this one to be the best place yet: * The facility is clean * Many of the staff have been there for several years, and they are attentive to the needs of the patients. * It is the best value that we have found for memory care in the area where my parents live * It is an intimate environment that feels more like a home than an institution * This facility wasn't designed with memory care as an afterthought. It was specifically designed as a pleasant, functional environment for those with dementia Everyone who has come to visit my mother has commented about how nice it is, and we couldn't be happier!

We have just recently placed my mother-in-law at Windsor House and she is loving it. She likes it so much better than the independent living resident that she moved from. The residents at Windsor House are happy and friendly, staff is very helpful and the food is terrific. She has more interest in getting out and meeting people and all around so much happier.

I am happy with the care from this community. We have been pleased with the caring staff and the nice environment. The menu is appealing. They have been kind and helping him in the many activities. I like knowing that he is happy with the small trips away from the community. We would recommend the care of this community for other families.

After they assesed my mother in law, they said with her memory capacity they didn't have a secure enough system for her. It actually was my first choice, I liked that it was in a convinient location for us. It seemed like and I thought it was probably one of the most attractive places and the price factor was a really big deal for us. It was the best price for what she got for the money and for how it looked. They didn't have any additional care costs and I think it's because they wanted to have people that were at lower levels of need.

The place is a bit dated but the staff care about the residents. Sure, we would recommend the community to other families, they are a lower cost option

We were pleased with this community. This was a good place and my mother was well taken care of during the time that we were there. I also heard that they now have a new activity director and things are changing. They had activities like, speakers that come in, bingo and checkers for the residents at the time. The staff were very caring and helpful no matter what the question was they made sure that I got the answers I needed and that my mother was taken care of.

This was a nice community, just a little too expensive for us.

The staff is caring people. Communication was good between the staff and our family I would recommend this community to others.
