Spring Oak Senior Living

The staff promptly attends to your needs. Rooms are cleaned daily. Personal laundry is done weekly. Bed sheets are changed weekly. Showers are given twice weekly. Bus trips and eateries are offered. Entertainment is provided such as karaoke and live entertainment. Movies are shown weekly. Three meals are served daily with snacks in between. I'm very satisfied with my choice to call this home.

The apartment size is plenty of room for a couple. The care they have received has been excellent. They enjoy their meals and have made several friends. Grounds are well maintained and it is a quiet setting. Renovations are going on but that has not seemed to be an issue. Staff is helpful and friendly. Very pleased so far.

I'm generally pleased with Spring oaks but there have been a few bumps in the road. His USB-C cube was stolen (replaced by staff). Crazy, but a pkg of picture hanging hooks were stolen. B4 he got there, I informed them that he has to be witnessed taking his meds. Apparently they just leave them & assume he will take them. I was asked if he would go to PT & I agreed. Onsite PT would be out of plan so expensive. I was told that other in plan PT also go there. That was over 2 weeks ago & I have heard nothing. That said, the people are generally helpful & caring.

Staff is very friendly and most of them really care and respect my Mom. She loves her apartment. Not very mobile so she can't take take advantage of all the amenities. We had visited several places and we really like the staff and her accommodations. The handyman helped us through any task that she needed. Speech therapist was the most helpful.

Spring Oak is a wonderful place with kind and caring staff. The food is great, apartment size is very comfortable, ambiance lovely.

Brother's health improved while there. Staff very nice and accommodating. I would recommend to others.

Staff is very friendly, available and easy to communicate with. My mom feels comfortable there and is getting the care she needs. I know she is safe there. She is happier and more engaged since moving there.

I really like the executive director [name removed]. Her leadership is impeccable. I find the staff to be very helpful, caring and willing to go the extra mile from my mother. I would recommend this facility because they are caring, courteous , and professional.

The facility is spotless, the staff is friendly and deeply care about the residents. The director is phenomenal and communicates frequently to relieve concerns. They focus on helping their residents enjoy the time left.

Nice facility, clean, well-maintained, great staff and very. Ice programming for residents. Would definitely recommend to others.

[name removed] was such a pleasure. She was very kind and informative and won my client over. I am a realtor and I was selling her home and she did not have anywhere to go. She was very impressed with the tour and has called me several times since moving in to tell me how much she loves it there. She said the people are wonderful and all the services are more than she could ask for.

Our mother has been at Spring Oak for two months. The staff is kind, attentive, and they truly care about the residents. The facility is clean, modern and has many amenities and activities. Meals are diverse, and Mom's medical and personal needs are taken care of. It is such a relief knowing that she’s safe and well cared for. We would recommend Spring Oak to anyone looking for quality assisted living.

All 5's except #6- it was about a 3 and #7 probably a 2. Now my husband was in memory care only for a couple if months before he passed. During that time the activity director for that division really tried to keep him engaged but when she wasn't available he was pretty much left to just sit in front of a TV. The food left much to be desired.

Spring Oak at Forked River and the staff did a fantastic job caring for my mom. I couldn't ask for a better facility. She was fed well, and kept as healthy and clean as possible. My mom was well taken care of, and the communication was always honest and timely. I'm renovating my other house, selling this one and don't have much time.

Making the decision to place Mom in an assisted facility was one of the most difficult decisions to make for our family. We were very fortunate, with assistance from A Place for Mom, to find this loving , hands on facility for our mother.

Spring Oak of Toms River is a lovely place. The staff is kind and attentive to my mom, and she likes the activities they have. Their activities are many and varied. The entry hall is spacious, and the common areas are always fresh smelling. My mom is very happy there. Definitely a 5. For the first time that I remember, my mom says she's happy. I would certainly recommend it to other families.

Yes, what they could improve on would be the food. Every one complained about the food. I want to change my reply on activities to a 4. I forgot they had a lot that my mother in law did not want to participate in. I highly recommend this facility. We were not there long but were impressed after visiting other facilities.

They made us feel welcome and are committed to taking care of my husband with compassion.

Words cannot truly express how grateful I am to the staff at Spring Oak. They have been there for my mom & my family100% from day one. Mom’s health has significantly improved since she’s lived there. The staff has become family to us & have been available day & night. Any questions are immediately addressed & the staff goes above & beyond to ensure the residents are well cared for & happy. They have a variety of activities that the residents can participate in & there’s something for everyone. The director is top notch & like no one I’ve ever dealt with before. It is always clean & beautifully decorated. Spring Oak has been a true blessing to our family!

[name removed], Director of Community Relations, is the absolute best. She's very friendly, caring and makes you feel at home. All of the memory care staff were absolutely amazing and very accommodating.
