American In-Home Care

This is a good service for my loved one. You do have to be very specific with what you would like for them to do because if you are not they will not do it.

We chose American In-Home Care because they were the first to get back to me and they sounded like they were the oldest in the business. They have a good range of caregivers to choose from as well. I would tell others to let them know what you desire from caregivers so they can match them with your loved one. I would recommend to others, they are willing to try and help.

We've had a lot of first time people that weren't that good, and we had to ask for them to be removed for issues like laziness, having their ear pods in, meds not given on time. Some of them are absolutely amazing - they'll clean the whole entire house and it smells fresh and clean when I come home. And some are so bad it's like they didn't even interview them. It would be nice if there was more consistency of care. We end up with several caregivers during the week as opposed to just one. For the amount I'm paying, I would expect higher quality and for the management to better manage what's going on. But I'm grateful for the caregivers we've had who have been around for a while and are very friendly and helpful.
